It's killing me too. I'm from Northern Ireland and several companies are off at least part of this week due to bank holidays etc and this has obviously delayed things. I would like to think that a previous poster was correct in stating that if the news was negative I would have been told by now.0

Well no news isn't bad news, which leaves hope for good news.:) You know they're a company who communicate so it seems unlikely to me that they've employed someone else without letting you know.
I know how horrible it is to wait for news. I remember not wanting to have showers in case the phone rang and being crushed every time the phone rang and it wasn't them.0 -

So I should still feel positive?0 -
So I should still feel positive?
I've been there and I know how much time you spend focussing on negative scenarios, and then switching to focus on all the positive ones - and then back again. All I can say is that from what I've read on here you were a serious candidate for the job and were taken very seriously at interview. Those of us on here who've interviewed people for jobs all seem to agree that you don't spend your valuable time with candidates who you've already ruled out. The first thing I've done after interviews is contact the people who've definitely been unsuccessful. That's often just the start of it. Interview panels don't always agree so there are discussions to be had which sometime have to take place days after the interviews.
I know it's easier to believe the negatives, but it's really not over until it's over.;)0 -
This waiting is tough, still nothing.0

No direct contact details to get through to HR etc.
The interview ended with me being asked how I would deal with having to work on a day I'd booked off, I said there would be no problems, I was then asked to give some examples, the main interviewer then asked me to elaborate even further. The main interviewer then asked the third panel member if they had any further questions and he advised that "choyaa has been grilled more than enough" this brought a laugh from all in the panel including me.
I was then asked for questions and after this the interview concluded, HR advised I would know in about a week but I'm sure she forgot about the holiday period over here.0 -
