I saw Brooklyn today too. I didn't think it was that great. Certainly not worth paying to go see it. I also don't think it should be rated 13 as it has a strong sex scene. I thought there would be more funny parts from the trailer. Also, I didn't really get the main character's dilemma in the last third of the film; you wouldn't really put aside such a big event having happened in your life (the court event) even if you do return to another country.0

Aww it's a shame you didn't enjoy.
I don't find out the synopsis of films before I watch as it creates an expectation and I'm often disappointed. It was free and local so I went (though a bit early for a Sunday).
You must have saw a different version to me as I didn't see a strong sex scene, if you mean the part when she takes her hubby back to her boarding house I wouldn't say that was a strong scene though I did feel a bit awkward watching with my 13 year old niece.
Overall it was a simple story line and easy to follow.0 -
Yeah I didn't think the sex scene was strong at all, and lasted all of about 20 seconds, a bit of wham bam thank you mam.
Overall a decent movie, but I'd be disappointed if I'd paid0 -
anybody tried booking the bridge of spies screening
you can register without being a telegraph subscriber but cant book tickets as the location field is empty
is this because all the tickets have gone ?0 -
thriftymanc wrote: »I can't even access it - I follow the link and log in and it just takes me to the main Telegraph Rewards site with no mention of the screening at all!
thart happens to me now too - this morning took you straight to the booking page but no locations available0 -
Its the OPEN ticket booking page. Its exceptionally rare for any tickets to ever appear on that page. I don't think its happened for years. You need the subscribers page, currently http://subscriber.telegraph.co.uk/loyalty/rewards/culture/article4332.ece?active=1 to access the proper booking site. You also need to be a subscriber.0

Geordie Ben steals his codes, usually from FMUK but he is generally quicker off the mark to be fair :rotfl:prernakapoor wrote: »This was screened yesterday and is not showing up on the website.geordie_ben wrote: »0
