Suspended from Ebay

Good old Ebay, instead of dealing with all the dishonest people on Ebay who constantly break their rules and de-fraud buyers, they decide to spend their time removing my listings and now suspend me!

Over the past few weeks I have had many listings removed by the VERO programme. I assumed that it was because of the pictures that I had on my listings, so I changed them, then it happened again and I changed them again.

Yesterday I received an email to say that my account had been suspended as I continued to list items that infringed a VERO programme rights holders copyright.

So what is it I am doing wrong? What is it on my listing that is not allowed? Well, no one will tell me! So how am I supposed to stop doing something if I don't know what it is I am doing?

This whole VERO thing has just got ridiculous. Strikes me that companies just don't like people selling their products on Ebay and will find any reason they can to stop it.
Theses products are my own property and therefore I am allowed to sell them, am I not? I would be interested to hear from anyone in the know if this infringes MY rights in any way.

Ebay seem quick to act in these circumstances but if you get frauded by a seller then they don't want to know and do little or nothing to help, I have had 3 problems with sellers in the last month and no satisfactory help in dealing with them. I am out of pocket and there is nothign that I can do, Ebay just pass you on to paypal who say send the thing back at your own cost and they MAY be able to get back for you the original amount paid for the item - but not the postage, great!

Anyone know of any other sites that do any business? The ebay and paypal fees are crippling me anyway.......

I can't give you an item number as I am suspended and it won't show up. All my listings have been removed

As for suggesting that I may not be telling you the whole truth, well how rude are you!

and was it on just one account ?

I don't have all the emails saved so I can't remember rightly. I had a listing removed for a voucher that I was selling and then I think it has been 3 occassions for the moisturiser.

oh, and i had a listing for a pair of trainers removed because I said that they were, "clean and they didn't smell".

I asked Ebay why they had removed this and they said that it was because what I said suggested that the trainers had not be cleaned to Ebays standards........?????

I contested this as it made no sense and they eventually allowed me to relist the item as long as I didn't say anything about them smelling! I try to include as much information as possible about things I sell, but it seems that it's best not to.

I think if they thought it was a fake that it would be a different listing violation rather than a VERO copyright one. Also, why would they think it was fake? Had only good feedback.
