LG washing machine experience

I need a new washing machine and have home in the LG range because of their large capacity and 5yr warranty (true?)

Has anyone used one before and what's your experience? Thanks!

I did a quick review of my LG washing machine at the end of this thread
    I think it's great!

We have one that does 7kg loads. It fell off a waist high counter and landed on the top corner of the machine, twisting the entire frame so it no longer sits level. The top has broken loose and you can now see inside the casing.

    It still works perfectly.

    I'd buy another any day.

I have one of those and I am very pleased with it.

The only thing is that you cannot overide the program so I cannot just sin a load of washing etc.

Thank you for all the response. I have bought one which comes with 5 yr part+labour warranty http://www.electricaldiscountuk.co.uk/itfx_product_details.php?pid=3236&PHPSESSID=cccd57dc42c998f594ca981962f441d9

It's a slightly older model and only does 1100 spin. But the 5yr warranty is what sold me on this particular modle (given the 90 quid they charge me when I had the hotpoint machine serviced!!!!!) The other cheapest machine which I found that comes with 5yr warranty was Siemens but they cost quite a bit more (mid to high 400s). I also found a Siemens which comes with 10yr warranty for about 550 but thought that after 5yrs I might as well get a new machine if it breaks.
