Default Three credit check
Just tried to order a new phone contract and failed the credit check, this was a shock to me. How can I find more info about why? I have never had any credit problems

Have you checked your credit files?

That would be the usual starting point, then you can see if there is anything unexpected on them.

I am not sure which credit reference agency Three are likely to have searched.
Callcredit is the easiest file to check through their noddle website, and it is free.
And you can get your statutory files from experian and equifax for £2 each.

I think I know why.

It'll be due to this thread https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5254590= where you refused to make minimum payments on your card because you had a 0% BT offer.
