An activities basket is a nice touch though, filled with some colouring supplies, small packets of plasticine, loom bands (with clothes pegs or the board) and a couple of card/games. I wouldn't supply anything 'energetic' or that requires parents to move away from the party (eg bouncy castle.)
^^^this.
As a mum of three (4,2,2), whenever I take mine anywhere, my first thought is to take what I think they will need - to eat, drink (in case they don't eat what's on offer), and entertainment. If other things are provided - great - but I wouldn't automatically expect it. If it was a children's party, that would be different, but you will probably find that the parents come prepared. I certainly wouldn't expect bouncy castles or the like.0 -
I wouldn't worry about it, let the parents do the entertaining and supervising as presumably they have asked for the children to attend.Slightly bitter0
