So open a 3rd and switch that one instead?
I would if I could, but any I open I'd still want to keep for the interest.ceredigion wrote: »Classic not classic plus.:)
Do you mean open a regular Classic account rather than a Classic Plus?
I have already set up a couple of direct debits on a Classic Plus that I was hoping to use for switching before the above question came to me.
If I didn't have to open another account it would be easier. Do you know if a donor account is closed after switching away from it?0 -

Do you want to switch or not? Switching = the old account is closed.
The normal classical account probably has basically no interest so you'd just open, switch (then that TSB is closed) then you have the new switched account at the new bank and your 2 TSB savings accounts.
If you want the DDs moving too just move them from the classic plus to the classicMortgage (Nov 15): £79,950 | Mortgage (May 19): £71,754 | Mortgage (Sep 22): £0
