Shall I pick my hat yet? :D

Not a lot done here today. DS1 never managed to get back here till lunch time by the time he had unloaded it was 3pm and then he came to see me for half an hour before he left again for Newcastle. DD never got to ballet class as we were too late to catch a train and be in there on time. Never mind got him to sign a card for DD for tomorrow and dad for Sunday.

Kitchen cleaned up and LR tidied although if you were here you'd think I was a liar as its back to square one again.

Knitting and carrying on with my marathon 24 watching.

Hi all, so tired tonight. Have done the paid stuff, taken the dog for a long walk, sorted lots of laundry, tidied and dusted DSs bedroom, done a roast for tea and made apple crumble.

There is more to do but I have had enough for today.
  • Hi folks,

Just checking in to say a big fat nothing has been done today, apart from paid stuff. Feel bleurgh. I think I was doing what I always do, trying to power through a bug and carry on regardless. I am not feeling like eating which just does not happen to me. I love food. On the plus side it might help me lose the baby weight (can you still call it that after five years? :))
CY glad you are feeling well enough to be bored! LW you are right, dog walking is better than cleaning, that is one of the reasons my house is a bit of a mess x

You've beat me there valli I've not had mine yet... In fact I don't think I'll bother now.

Builders were here this afternoon so shed contents are in conservatory along with storage boxes that need putting together. I only finished work at 5.30 (on my non working day) then fed kids then went to beavers.
I'm just having a decaf brew then will do lists then bed.

Tomorrow I need to sort some mess, make a curry, get DD to ballet and pack the car up.
Oh, we had the starting school meeting last night and with training days my kids have 53 blinking days off school this summer! 7.5 weeks

I wore a hat for my daughters wedding. I looked at the fascinators and saw one that i liked but the hat took precedence. Shame really as it was really heavy and a tad too big.

Despite having my Grandson all day ive done a few bits and pieces in the house.
