I made myself vulnerable again!
The alternative is? Can you love somebody without being vulnerable? Tomorrow is another lovely fresh day x
Pruned rather than watered so may well water first thing in the morning (less mozzies). Helped DS3 create a facebook account, guess who is his first friend
Having a second pimms and chilling for it's the weekend for me.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Hi all
FFP what a nightmare, hope things have calmed down. Been to my gym class tonight, called into L*dl for a few bits of shopping. Need to put a load of whites in before I go to bed.
Stupidly made an appointment for DS tomorrow and he cant go - I knew that but had a mental blip - will have to ring and cancel.
Anyway, bed calls, night all!0 -
Hi again,
Well I took the dog for walkies instead of cleaning the toilet. So nothing off the list today. Will try harder tomorrow. 2 miles felt like about 20 though, think I am not quite over the bug. Also realised when I got home I'd had my fleece on inside out the whole time. On the plus side, saw a lovely deer. X0 -
All's quiet on the western front but we still have one police car outside?
Landlord phoned he's going to sort it so let's hope he does. Poor DS2 got a fright he was across the street at the church and the pastor told him there was police and ambulances outside our house and he might want to phone me. Wee soul thought his dad had took ill again.
DS1 on his way home :j but only for an overnight and to pick up his car then he's Newcastle bound. At least I will get to see his face and remember what it looks like!
List for tomorrow. Plus I want to have a wee look in that cupboard in my bedroom to see what can get flung/CS/ebayed

Hiya everyone :hello:
Pigpen - love the knitting. Yes- could be hormones and maybe a little bit of stress. Sending some calming vibes your way
OOH - I have a new kitchen machine. I have, for years, put up with a mincer of the vacuum bottom kind and - if any of you have tried one - they are the proverbial pain in the a**e. I eventually persuaded DH that I really, really needed a better one.
Saw one on offer, ordered and received and today it had it's first run. It's brilliant !! The last twice we had a leg of lamb I put all the cut-offs in the freezer and that is now minced and cooked - six portions of ordinary mince and four of greek mince.
If it's gone I've done it or I don't have one

Morning- full of beans here (not me, the littlies) so I guess we'll get started with breakfast.
Lots to do today including getting ready for the landscaper who called last night and is coming today  plus more paid stuff and shopping and packing for weekend away.
On the plus side, bedrooms tidy except DDs so cleaning should be a breeze!
Pigpen are you over-analysing do you think? Men are simple creatures and inertia features in most of them xxxBossymoo
Away with the fairies :beer:0 -
Morning all. No flying done here yesterday so aiming to catch up with yesterday's bathroom jobs this morning.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
Morning, havig to work this morning when I was hoping to do a mega clean as the littlies are at nursery, but hey ho. Will get some things done tonight and I have all weekend to catch up a little. Must must do some washkng today and the dishwasher and tidy upstairs, think that's all I will get done, will try and take some ebay photos too. Been looking at our grocery budget and have been making a list of foods for us to eat to use up our huge food store. Actually should do an inventory! Another thing to add to the list!
Hope you're feeling a little better pigpen, I'm awful with hormones if it's any consolation, I once had an argument with OHfor an hour and a half over why he never makes a cup of tea! Insert embarrassed smiley here!0
