what's the saying? "A fool and their money......"0

Not really friendly or helpful advice.
I'm not in debt- I have a small balance one one card, which is needed to improve my credit as I don't have other bills or debt and haven't for 3 years.
.
With respect you are in debt and also apparent in denial.
If you have a credit card that you are not clearing the balance in full every month then that is a debt. If you can pay it off then I have absolutely no idea why you wouldn't want to do that.laughable. I'm absolutely no fool but thanks for your concern.
36% interest paid on card or 1% interest on savings. No brainer to me but I guess that makes me the fool for only having 0% credit cards.
If you want to improve your credit then pay it off completely not piecemeal - it will cost you far less too but based on your previous replies it probably isn't what you want to hear.Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0 -
All went well I have my car and also paid off my card!! Super...
I usually pay my cad in full the last two months ive chosen not to for s couple of reasons but due to hitting targets in work ive received my bonus and paid off my card in FULL and I also have my finance agreed... But still deciding on that.
Thanks for everyone's concerning comments about me being a fool, but I'm absolutely not and now what you be said? I have no debt.0 -
Blimey, haven't had a chance to sneeze yet and a car is bought, so much for advice and considering it for a while, was the Croydon magic money tree in full bloom thismorning.
You didn't get the advice you wanted because these forums are awash with people who want everything now, sign themselves up for new cars with as much forethought as they might exercise when choosing which pair of socks to put on, and then when it's all gone pear shaped 4 months later...boy/girlfriend has vanished, redundant, pregnant again so need a double decker bus to carry one small child etc etc, you name it they all get aired here.
Generally the best advice for most people is to not buy anything, except the house you wish to live in, on credit.
There's good reason those who lend money to the unwise are living in mansions with their trophy wives in places like Gerrards Cross and Sunningdale, whilst those who borrow constantly are funding the moneylenders luxury cars and racehorses.0 -
Anyhow enjoy your evening I'm off to stand my own two feet and pack my suitcase for my holiday which I splashed out for on my card for me and my mother:-)
I really hope you are being Ironic but somehow I actually think you believe the drivel you are writing.Totally Debt Free & Mortgage Free Semi retired and happy0 -
:rotfl:
Seriously get a life. Read again... Said I may not take the finance yet as I'm deciding the best options. Jeez, lighten up, people in this forum are so dull and not to mention rude.0
