Hiya my lovelies! :hello:
I'm sitting here like a muppet waiting for my eBay items to finish and hoping for a few last minute bids as my stuff isn't exactly setting the world alight with excitement so far!
I've been in what my mate Claire calls my "Even if there's a nuclear holocaust Jack will still have nice hair, & good skincare Drawer" where my stash lives and I've listed some expensive hair care products that I had bought on a TSV from QVC and I can live without if I really really have to!
There's probably some skincare that I could make some dosh on in there too if I ration myself on what I've got open at the moment.
*trudges up the stairs to get that too*
I'd actually rather have the money and eke out what I've got for a while. Wow.
I haven't bought any skincare / make up / toiletries etc for a month or two now, and I'm slapping myself down hard whenever I get tempted!
Anyway. I've gone off topic a bit there...
Have a good week everyone!

That's not off topic, not if it adds to your total...
No more extras for me - other than £2 coins and change. But doing a (very well paid) extra couple of hours this afternoon at my part time job - should be another £27 ish when I get it! Hooray!
Happy Monday all0 -

Oh my god I am so pleased :j
After reading advice from people on the boards I decided to give Amazon selling a try.
Wasn't very optimistic, have had no luck with books on ebay but thought it worth a try.
However, in 24 hours I have taken £42 in book sales! :T :T :T
In addition to this has been more ebay sales! :j
I am so grateful to everyone on this board for there brilliant advice, joining this community has done more for my finances and money attitude than anything ever has!
Have updated sig to show that my earnings towards xmas £500 challenge is currently £180.38!!! This is ebay and amazon sales, minus postage and fees to date.
I still have cheques to clear and payments still waiting!
Am going to sell every book in the entire house! :rotfl:
Seriously though, I am so chuffed. When I joined this challenge I didn't think I'd make £100, let alone what I have achieved so far.
When I include the extra work shifts I did last week and more this week I really think I can make the £500!
Sorry to drone on but I am just so pleased!!! Total debt £21,000 :eek:Weight loss to date - 2 st, 2lb:j0 -

I hit the £200 mark today... £200.22 to be precise! Really proud of myself - I've been ebaying like crazy, but will soon run out of stuff to sell so will have to get my thinking cap on...0
