It seems like it's been ages but I finally have something to update - just got my payslip and an extra £150 in overtime will be hitting my account tomorrow :j

Add that to the 15-quid-and-pence I made matched betting last week and I'm on £165.19.

Feels good to be off the mark at last!

    Hi all,

Everyone seems to be making good progress, this challenge must be just what we all need. My new total is now £145. This is mainly due to matched betting and some mystery shopping work. I have been filling in surveys but have decided not to include any of this money until i get paid out as although i may have accumulated some of the money during this challenge some of the sites like yougov take forever to pay out.

I have several mystery shopping jobs lined up for tomorrow so this will increase my total nicely. My stuff on ebay is selling, not for a lot but i will be happy to be clutter free.

    Hi all,
Just updated totals. Have made a bit through Quidco - £20 for arranging visit from Hillary Blinds rep (very quick and painless, no hard sell) and £50 for changing gas and elec supply. Both have tracked so have included them as they should pay before Christmas. DD started new job and has given me £100 towards her 'keep'. I have decided to save this and include in my totals. So now a 1/4 of the way there. :j Good luck everyone.
  • Hi, I'm new here, haven't even posted my long-winded debt confessions for the world to see, however I would love to join in this challenge. I'll pledge Bronze (£500) and will be so made up if I achieve it :j

I'm sure I'll be posting loads of here now I've made the plunge and decided to get involved. Hopefully all you guys will be there to help and support me, you seem like a really nice community
    Total debt £21,000

  • Well I am doing another car boot on Sunday - earlier on I had radio 2 on listening to Martin, whilst his book is perched on my bookshelf and I was on his website. MSE addicted I think LOL.

I went to the hairdressers yesterday had a dry cut instead of a wash and blow dry and saved £5. I have sent off today for free sims as they sell well at car boot sales at £1.00 each - and every little helps.

This PM more surveys to do and I will be looking for some mystery shopping jobs too

  • A slow week - down at my parents (and quite a few no spend days...) - received two O2 sims cards - just waiting to get some more free stuff to build up for anothe car boot sale - not going to add my Quidco monies yet until they are safely in my account! But by Christmas it should out me in silver position.

  • Hello! This is just the inspiration I need as I'd like to buy a better car in the new year as I'm doing more and more driving for work, and my trusty escort is getting less trusty and more rusty! I'd like to aim for gold if I'm not too late to join? I'm going to be doing quidco, rpoints and other cashback sites, as well as more surveys and maybe get into some mystery shopping. We just moved house and did a huge de-clutter so not much left to ebay, but there's always something I can find. I'm really looking forward to this! Good luck everyone
