Seller Dashboard

"The transaction defect rate is the percentage of your total transactions that had any one of seven defects. Note that these defects often measure how satisfied your buyers were with a transaction. We don't count more than one defect per transaction."

one item on my defect dashboard has a markdown ( cross ) for Neutral feedback left and another markdown for 1 or 2 or 3 stars for item description , is this a contradiction ?
As Martin says - please be nice - there is no such thing as a stupid question ! ;)

The two defects will show but only be counted once for your defect rate.

You can only get one defect per transaction.
Even if the buyer opened a case, left Neutral along with 1* across the board, it would only score once as a defect.
