Orange PayG plan - question
                    Hi,
I am using Orange PayG since October 2005. Because of this, I pay 35p for calls outside Orange. If I activate a new SIM card, I would get a much better rate, 15p a minute I think.
And here is the question - is there any way of changing the plan, so that I get the better rate? I don't want to change my number. Would that be possible to transfer my number to another network?

Yes you can change your price plan. Details of the various plans ore on their website and you should be able to switch from your handset without changing your number. To switch to another network you need to as for a PAC. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0

I can't see anything about cahnging the plan on their website. I don't have this option on my Orange account either.0

I didn't say that you could change your price plan on their website, only contact customers can do that! See here for PAYG plans and dial 450 to change. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0

            as above,
call 450 - state the tariff you are looking to switch to
(the current one is called Speak Easy - you just have to select the 'bonus' offer)
it will switch over automatically once they provision it.
 three offers are called:
Text Trigger (free X-net SMS + GPRS data bundle depending on top-upamount during month)
Bonus Top-up (Free credit depending on top-up amount during month + 3magic Numbers)
Bonus Text top-up (free Orange SMS + 3magic numbers)
check the site for all the details, but the current tariff is likely to be much better than the one you're on now
