Should I be getting an offer??
Currently with a refresh deal but I have already paid my phone off its just the airtime now. May go sim only as I like my phone but O2 is more expensive than others. So just wondering if O2 will make me a better monthly contract offer to stay??

Only if you call them. And the contact doesn't end, you just come the end of the minimum term. It'll become a 30 rolling contract until you call them and cancel or upgrade.

Possibly, but O2 aren't known for their great retention offers. Chances are you'll find a better deal with another network either directly or through a third party site (remember to go they quidco for cash back). Do your homework before committing to a new deal with O2.

Look at the affordable mobiles site and the like.

If you want to stay on the o2 network, then the obvious alternatives SIM only are Tesco Mobile or giff gaff.
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)
  • I've just bought an i phone 5 from 02 using Matin's tips. ie cancel contract immediately and pay for phone £240. Since then i've had no end of problems the latest being they took £450 out of my account. after saying they had overcharged me by £120 hopefully this will get sorted and the phone would have then only cost £120. Plus all my time. Good job i'm retired
