Hi all
Next month I will be phoning Sky to renegotiate my contract and I am definitely considering cancelling everything (TV/Phone/BB). I reckon they will probably price match the Phone and BB from SSE but I still want to cancel TV as its too expensive. As an alternative I was considering Amazon Prime or Netflix in addition to Freesat. Amazon Prime helpfully lists what is available on their website but I can't find a similar listing for Netflix so I was considering using their free trial to see whether its better for what I'm looking for than Prime. I was just wondering how easy it was to cancel the subscription following the free trial if it isn't suitable?
Cheers

I am now on £68 a month with Sky. And cant cancel as my contract renewed from April. Been with them for 4 years now.
Last year I was on good deal.
But true they are expensive.
Netflix is good, have used it. But all the movies are old though.
Have already seen those.
Same as Sky.0 -
It's very easy to cancel with netflix. I cancel and then go back a few times a year. They don't have new films but have boxed sets which I like watching.0

TBH, films isn't really an issue its the range of TV available - particularly for younger teens, that will be the deciding factor. DD (12) loves Nickelodeon and she will certainly miss that but if they have series of Nick programs (or similar) she'll be fine.0

If you are cancelling Sky and think you might miss the Sky channels, also look at Now TV as it offers the main Sky channels through the internet Only £6.99 a month for TV or £9.99 for movies. First month of movies is free and can cancel anytime and it will just stop at end of the free month. Or can get a NowTV box including first three months of entertainment channels for £15 http://www.johnlewis.com/now-tv-hd-smart-tv-box-entertainment-bundle-with-three-month-subscription/p1753102?s_afcid=af_78888&awc=1203_1434114008_bc4af273c9302ba8169cb8f64730e5f20
