That's not a very neat solution though, and a bit of a pain. I've set up GMX mail collector for the account, which is working pretty well.

Think I am going to start migrating to a different account for these emails though, I'm not overly impressed about this situation.

Out of curiosity, why do you ahve so many older E-Mails in the first place? I tend to purge my E-amisl about once a fortnight, if it's something important or an invoice etc, then they get stored in an archive folder, if its not, it goes bye bye.

Archived stuff is happy sitting on the server, easily accessible in the rare occasion its needed, everything else, well, its generaly crap anyway.
