Missko what do you think of the changes coming in in Wales next year then , or do you not have any properties here ,so don't need to take much notice of them

The intentions are no longer a 6 month fixed term, the end of the moratorium period.

    no retaliatory evictions

New tenancy agreements for all tenancies, social or private

to name but a few of the changes in the housing act

    Pixie, you're clearly jealous.

Why am I a failed criminal lawyer? Cos I went to work in England for a couple of years, became dual-qualified then realised I could make more money in Property and not have to go to police stations at 3am?

And I no longer have any debts except per my signature.

Jealous of a deluded, Katie Hopkins wannabe? I don't think so.

I'm capable of standing on my own two feet. Your signature shows you're still in debt and that debt would be far higher without tenants paying your mortgage and the bank of mum and dad.

I welcome the proposed changes if it means landlords like you are no longer in business. If it means that tenants will feel secure in their homes. A landlord who doesn't understand the difference between a squatter and a tenant with a valid tenancy. It's scary to think that you have any kind of law qualifications if you can tout that kind of ignorance.

Sorry did you say something funny? Other than likening tenants with valid tenancy agreements to squatters.

Jenc - it's not a gain til you sell. And house prices could fall as well as rise.

Of course - what do you expect? a guaranteed return that has a higher return than any other investment? which you are able to cash in whenever you like? Does any such investment exist? Oh, yes, property!

Pixie not all debt is bad! I will pay credit off at end of 0%
It's simply my opinion that unwanted tenants are like squatters. It's just a shame the law doesn't reflect that. I'm afraid to say that I'm one of the more left wing lawyers that I know! Lol!

I'm not sure why you're afraid to say it. I'm not surprised by that claim, but then I do know a number of lawyers!
