Dear all,
I would think this is a pretty clear cut case but basically do recovery companies exist that would 'buy' a very small debt off me and pursue it themselves?
1/ I purchased and received a £12.99 item from a web based company.
2/ I returned it 2 days later in line with their policy and my own consumer rights etc.
3/ I used their pre-paid label and got proof of postage.
4/ They denied receipt and said they would get back to me.
It has been a month and they have stopped communication and now ignoring my emails.
I have informed Trading Standards who advised me to send an email holding them in breach of contract.
What comeback do I have? If this is a clear-cut case, would anyone buy the debt off me and pursue it themselves or is this too small an amount?
I am determined to make life hell for these crooks on principal.
Many thanks
BD

Far too small an amount , you would be looking at a penny or two in the pound at best.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
