You binned them:eek::eek::eek: !!!!!! why?
It is normal practice for tickets not to be posted until very close to the gig date (at a guess to avoid them being sold on for a profit)!
But why bin them?:eek:
You had the tickets but you binned them :wall::wall::wall:
Apologies for repeating myself but I am astounded!
This must be a wind up!:(0 -

The retailer advised that the tickets had been invalidated. Common sense dictates that the OP probably should have taken the tickets just in case, but 'just in case' doesn't factor into this particular situation as the OP had specifically been advised that the tickets he had been sent had now been invalidated.
No. They said they would invalidate the tickets IF the tickets didn't turn up!0 -

Even if your interpretation is correct, why would you not take the tickets to the concert just in case? Even if they were no longer valid for entry the OP would have had a better chance of arguing their case with some physical evidence in hand.0 -
Tickets were also sent by secure delivery, so the seller has proof of delivery.0

This is a wind up.
OP clearly says will invalidate the tickets if they do not turn up in time.
You need to get your story straight.0 -

Two phrases come to mind:
1. Cherry picking
2. Swing and a miss
Why did you omit the full (relevant) quote when making this post?
" emailed again to ask the procedure if I had not received them by the time of the gig. They assured me they would invalidate my tickets and have a set at the box office for collection prior to the concert."
Please read the bolded bit. Then read my other post on this thread. All will become clearer to you.0
