I got a INR case open on Wednesday for an item posted 2nd class on Monday. I did not think a buyer could even open a case that quickly?
Estimated deliver is wednesday 10th to thursday 11th

I believe now they can open it on the first estimated delivery date- and we all know that ebay believe RM 2nd class gets there instantly.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. crazy , you got to remember in the eyes of the buyer its upto you to deliver the item within 24/48/72hrs & that things like weekends & bank holiday dont count"If I know I'm going crazy, I must not be insane"0

Change your dispatch time to meet customers expectations, even if this is only to compensate for eBay's own p poor estimations.Warning: any unnecessary disclaimers appearing under my posts do not bear any connection with reality, either intended, accidental or otherwise. I have 1 day dispatch set because otherwise I don't qualify for TRS - guess it does not matter so much now that we have lost our 15% discount!0 -

I saw when it first came out that the TRS discount was really popular on here but never let eBay yank my chain over it. Really, I see the one day dispatch for over night courier (APC etc), and these are fully tracked.I have 1 day dispatch set because otherwise I don't qualify for TRS - guess it does not matter so much now that we have lost our 15% discount!Warning: any unnecessary disclaimers appearing under my posts do not bear any connection with reality, either intended, accidental or otherwise. I am holding on to my 1 day dispatch as the 10% discount is just enough to keep me interested.
However, I do show 2 day dispatch, and give up the discount, for difficult items where I need to faff about finding a suitable box and packaging. it is nice with fiddly China and glass to give myself an extra day to pack- although I tend to still send next day .I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I always add a day onto the time I think it should take to prevent these things. Ebay are a big machine and dont give two hoots about us, aslong as they get their cashmonies they don't care.....0

As a seller though we have no way of changing the delivery estimates that ebay stick us with.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Yes, you do. Add a couple of days processing time and still send it same day as before.Warning: any unnecessary disclaimers appearing under my posts do not bear any connection with reality, either intended, accidental or otherwise. Your statutory rights are not affected.0
