Hi, I would just like you to know I was as gullible as yourself only this week and fell for it. I paid £100 and I even tried another tonight (was never intending on going through to purchase) and he admitted to me in email it was a scam and he was making £5k a week through people like me that were stupid enough to try and buy an iPhone for £100. He also said I deserved to be scammed for being stupid enough to believe I could get a phone so cheap. It's more annoying to me that Loot don't seem to want to do anything about it either so it will continue to happen unfortunately.

    Where did you get scammed?

I know what you're saying but Loot also say most of their adds are legitimate. There are thousands of iPhone scams on their site so why do they allow that?

Because they're only scams if you ignore Loot's instructions.

A serious question for you, why did you ignore the "Buy safely - do not make a payment before receiving an item!" warning on the advert? I genuinely cannot understand how people are conned by these scammers?

Well he does have a valid point.

I only ignored it because I was gullible to be honest. I'm neither greedy or stupid as has been mentioned on this thread! I won't be doing it again and I only wanted other people to see it so they don't fall for it. Maybe I just think the best in people too much.

    The evidence suggests otherwise.

Greedy = I want to buy an iPhone for £50
Stupid = I believed it's possible to legitimately buy an iPhone for £50

What a completely unnecessary post. Are you such a pathetic person that you get kicks out of using the internet to insult people who've been the victim of a scam?

Anyway, I'm out of here as I didn't come here to be insulted. I know I made an error and I lost £100 and I also know I won't make that same mistake again.
