Cancelling / Cooling off if bought in store

I have just bought a new pay monthly phone from EE.
After previously being with Orange I wasn't too worried about upgrading to EE but it's caused a lot of problems - there doesn't seem to be a way for me to get signal inside my home.
From what I've now found out:
The app I had with my old phone that used wi-fi is Orange only.
The EE wi fi version is only on a couple of the newest handsets (which I don't have)
The signal booster box thing they used to do was stopped and was supposed to restart late last year but hasn't.
Can't believe there are so many options and none of them will work!
Anyone have any ideas or know my rights to cancel if I bought face to face in store because I can only seem to find distance selling regulations.
Thanks

If you are within the 14 days and it was an upgrade with signal issues they will cancel for you.
If you are out of the 14 days it will be a problemIt's not just about the money0 -
There are no statutory cancellation rights or cooling-off period if purchased in store, save what the retailer chooses to grant you under their own T and C's.No free lunch, and no free laptop0
