  • Decided I was only going to buy a lottery ticket for the last Friday in the month (which was yesterday - no kidding :rotfl:) and guess what - I forgot :rotfl: but cant stop myself checking the numbers after posting on my diary :eek: know I shouldn't - so maybe I will decide, from now on - only on last Friday of month and a Lucky Dip, that way if I "forget" again, I'll not know what my numbers would have been

Loving this idea! I've stopped playing the lottery and think if I ever do again it will be ad hoc rather than regular. Got to go lucky dip as it would be sooooooo annoying if I played the same set of numbers when I played and they came up in between :rotfl:

Hope you having a good weekend and looking forward to the three day-er ....

  • They do a Euro "special" on the last Friday of the month, so with that in mind, I'm going to try and remember :o

Not done as much as I should have this weekend, so looks like it'll be just like another normal weekend the next two days. Have been listing like mad on the bay as listing offer in :j at last and sold 3 items since last night :)

Must get more on as offer ends tomorrow night :(

Another lovely sunny and warm day here, nearly time to get out into the garden - can't wait :) Still haven't managed to catch up with diaries, yet :o but will - very soon

You lucky duck AFK having another two days off!

I have been outside today as it has been nice ( bit duller now). Sorted out pots and the cold frame ready for new planting in the next couple of weeks. Spray painted some of the hanging metal planters and sorted mini pots for seedlings. Have reserved compost, more spray paint and a small wood protector paint to collect on my way home from work tomorrow. Should be set to start planting by next weekend. Lidl have a few good bits from this Thursday for the garden so that will probably not be a NSD.:D

I declare 21 NSDs this month as tomorrow won't be one as I will pay for garden bits when I collect.

Enjoy the rest of your weekends all. Hope you have a nice " second weekend" AFK

I love this board!! Was just making a cuppa and popped on to see this ... so checked and I too have the offer today which I'd have otherwise missed. Just the kick I need to list some more this evening

  • Oh Bexster - your car  thank goodness no one hurt, and not too much damage, there's always a good side to events.

Chilly today, so have heating on, not feeling too good:(, but still done a load of work (house) and hair done today  not quite what I expected (colour wise) never mind, will revert back to my normal shade and stop experimenting :o lesson learnt. Still plenty more to list on the bay, so that's my next job. Posted 5 items today and when I got back - there's another item sold - that will be posted tomorrow:)Hollyboll - did you manage to list any?

Today is my mortgage anniversary - 4 years to the day, so I reckon I'm half way there, as my mortgage free target is 29.2.20 (in my head) realistically without any o/p's it should finish in Sept 2023, original date was Feb 2030.

No sign of my "missing" £100 yet, so o/p another £100 to replace the "Lost" £100 which I reckon should be back in my account around the 7th March, if not, then phone calls need to be made.

Now need to check my bank balances - lets see if I can remember where they all are :o

20/29 NSD for Feb. o/p £265.61 for Feb - on target :) happy with that, for now

Happy Mortgage Anniversary :D and well done, both on a great OP and being half way to finishing :T

Hope the missing £100 turns up soon too and your hair colour settles down. :)

Hurrah on halfway through your mortgage :T

Well done you on getting houses stuff done. I picked up my homebase stuff on the way home from work so will see what evenings this week I might get out to finish the outdoor space off ready for planting.

Had a bit of a "senior" moment tonight.

Logged on to have a look at my balances, and one of my accounts is the same as my mortgage account, so the two balances popped up - yeap you guessed it :o

I actually thought for a split second I had both balances in the bank :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

It was, but you know what - It somehow didn't make me feel any different  maybe if it had been longer than a split second - I would have had more time to think about it and what I would do with it.

I used to work with a lot of cash - just turned into "paper" to me, yet if it had been mine - another story -
when paying for expensive items (my own cash) I feel like Whoopie Goldberg in Ghost - when she is handing over that cheque to the nuns - when she kind of holds onto it for a moment longer :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:that's me - think some may call it "tight fisted" :o
