  • Here I am again, hope everyone had a lovely Christmas :xmastree:

Have just realised just how much time my new money making idea has taken up as I have not managed to post on here in a long time.

Still, thanks to my £'s making idea (along with a little help from an Insurance claim - that I have been going on about for the past 18 months) I have now, bought, paid and had new windows installed

    Proud to announce my mortgage is now . . . drum roll please . . . £1 under £15000 :D
Oooops, upset my mantra of having 00.00 at the end of the mortgage but temptation was just too much:rotfl:

Looking at figures and calculations, I am still on target for my MF goal of Dec 2019 - latest being Feb 2020 (29th to be exact) and 8 years to the day I took out my mortgage :money:

Wishing everyone a Happy and Healthy New Year :)

    Hello AFK

long time no " see". Great to hear about your new money making scheme. Fabulous news re mortgage, the end is truly in sight ( just over two years as a worst case scenario !) eight years is very impressive.

Happy New Year to you too.

    Bexster :)
  • Hi Bexster, thanks.

Your comment - Long time, no "see" reminds me of a postcard I received many moons ago - from my optician, thought it was a great way to remind me of my check up.

How are you doing? are you in a time zone that has already celebrated New Year?

Happy and Healthy New Year to you, too.

    Hi AFK!

Still in UK until mid-month. I have a few exciting things happening before I go away, and a job for two days a week when I return. The ideal option is to work out how to earn enough passive income to pay the bills so I can work at anything at any time I want to. I have given myself twelve months to get to that point. Let the games begin.

Hope the start of the new year is kind to you. PM anytime if you want to chat.

    Bexster :)
  • So New Year, New Me

1st things first. Had some time on my hands yesterday so decided to try my hand at MB (Yes SJ - at last, I hear you say :o - However I can only say - not for the faint hearted _pale_ Placed my 1st bet, waiting on the outcome tonight, not sure if I have to wait till that result before using my free bets :doh:would be helpful to know, so I could crack on

Patiently waiting on mortgage payment to come off, so I can do a knotty o/p, can't wait :)

Work beckons tomorrow - nice short week, then into full swing. Hope to have a nice week off end of the month/beginning of next :)

Now time for decs and tree to come down - and find a place to put it - got new tree this year, only to find I already had that colour in the loft along with black, green and white ones  - :shhh: so job for this year - clear out loft :rotfl:

    Good morning AFK.

Please let me know how the MB goes. I am looking into passive income streams to pay about £600 a month in total. I've always been super nervous of the matched betting thing but I'm sure it's more than do-able. Good luck with the decs, I have started removing mine too

    Bexster :)
