Spendy day - £1.45 for lunch, not too bad. Apart from that, considered cutting the grass tonight, but still extremely tired, so put it down to another night eBay listing.
19 items listed - 2 already sold.Always have 00.00 at the end of your mortgage and one day it will all be 0's :dance:MF[STRIKE] March 2030[/STRIKE] Yes that does say 2030  Mortgage Free 21.12.18 _party_Now a Part Timer from 27.10.190 -
Another no spend weekend - so far, and shopping last week was less than £10
bought some shopping to make salads  should have bought ingredients to make soup, felt like winter here, and yesterday was almost none stop rain. Although managed to resist putting on the heating.
Still feel a little snowed under with the listing, but making headway.
Definitely, definitely making my lemon coconut slices as we have a pot luck lunch for someone who is leaving work this week, may even manage a clootie dumpling (the lazy version)

Well done with the no spend weekend. I managed a no spend Saturday but I have spent just over £33 today on groceries and cat litter. We did get some yellow stickered stuff too, so that should do us a few meals.
Would love the recipe for the lemon coconut slices, they sound lush.
Please excuse my ignorance...what's a clootie dumpling please? Never heard of it.GE 36 *MFD may 2043

I did love making my gran's clootie dumpling taking hours over it, but tried the micro version, which turned out exceptional, the only thing is you don't get the same skin on it, I added some treacle though the next time I made it, couldn't tell the difference.
Please let me know how you get on if you decide to make it.
Been parcelling up tonight, and have just remembered that the PO may be closed tomorrow since its a local holiday, not for me though - no rest for the wicked, as they say. 10 parcels to postAlways have 00.00 at the end of your mortgage and one day it will all be 0's :dance:MF[STRIKE] March 2030[/STRIKE] Yes that does say 2030  Mortgage Free 21.12.18 _party_Now a Part Timer from 27.10.190 -
Well PO was closed for the public holiday, that I don't get, was working as usual. So have taken Friday & Monday making this weekend a long one. Boy, do I need it, this full time lark along with all the listing and parcelling and posting (well maybe not posting) since my mum does that for me.
Started making the dumpling and everything was going fine, all ingredients out of cupboard, happily measuring away, then got to the bit - 2 eggs beaten, well never checked if I had eggs, did I, everyone always has eggs in, don't they? well not me (well I did, but were out of date by a week or so) so decided not to use them. Got fresh eggs today.
And . . . the Lemon Coconut Slices went down a treat, everybody and I mean everybody who managed to get a taste, were all saying the same . . . it was amazing. Requests to make it again for next week, exactly the same. Were in raptures about my empire biscuits too, but told them, no big deal, it was only digestive biscuits sandwiched together with jam, icing on top with jelly tots or cherries. Glad I kept some back for myself.
Bank switch has now gone through, just need to wait and see if I get the incentive now.
Oh, and my Saga has reared its ugly head - again. Asked for a breakdown of the bill months back, only to be told last week "We are unable to provide a detailed financial breakdown of the work carried out on this repair . . . . . unit costs, such as labour, plant and materials are deemed commercially sensitive information"
No Sh*t  *?!!* Oh, it doesn't matter, you didn't use this and that, I'll just pay it.
