The DD was recalled anyway as there wasn't enough in my account to cover it. I chose the 25th as that's close to payday! If the co-op are unlikely to take notice of a letter of complaint, who else can I write to?

You could lodge your complaint through <Resolver> who claim to record all communications with the supplier, direct your complaint to the correct department and can also forward your complaint file to the Ombudsman if that becomes necessary.

I haven't used resolver myself but the facility looks promising.

I think that's a question that many of Co-op's customers would like an answer to. The 'resolver' system indeed sounds interesting, but judging by the number of Co-op threads on this forum board, I think we just have to hold tight until Co-op manage to get their posh new computer system up and running.

Today, they have shut down completely, so fingers crossed that things will begin to improve. Here's a link which I got from Co-op's main website - if you drill down to the FAQ's you get a very good impression of how bad it's been!
