    A v T womble today

:eek:T price on Mackerel fillets is nearly £8.97/kg?

Counter Mackerel £3.66/kg in M, albeit not hot and not smoked pepper - but you know neither of those has any bearing for me and I always go for the cheapest!

Meanwhile, Kipper Fillets (200g) back on 2 for £2. They were long 99p individual, until they went up to £1.29 some months back and have never returned to the original price. A was 85p low on its own version. It looks like its version has now returned so, I'll put it on M list (in 2s:(), fwiw, even though pretty expensive:rotfl:.

Good evening ....just a quick question I was putting a hd in and went to get my vouchers which was about £12 to find another 80 plus extra pounds there ...has anyone else got vouchers early and over paid vouchers at that ...

No such luck - maybe they are redistributing the vouchers robbed from me and others :D.

I'm sure that school think I'm into some criminal activity :o :rotfl:[/QUOTE]

I feel I am:o. The shop I collect them from is a long walk from the carpark so I ask the SA if she can put them out the back and I walk around to the back of the store through massive double gates to pick them up.
When I get to the back of the store, there are the boxes of crisps placed very neatly in the middle of a large yard with not a soul in sight
The last twice I have shouted at the top of my voice and no one comes.

So I just pick them up and run away:rotfl:

Thanks for this - I'll make a note against the other cheeses I've just added to "buy in M" as the SP at 50p makes those v.expensive!

It's actually SP Mild White Cheddar 385g at 50p? It won't be 50p in my nearest stores as they never are - I suspect full price, someone else on hukd has tried and their A is full price, so may be store-specific. Maybe the ones in M after all, at a push:D, for those whose A isn't at 50p:cool:.

EDIT: Or maybe the bigger SP cheese blocks (over 800g), as they, vs M, may be cheaper than the other cheeses in M.

They still had loads of SP Mature 350g RTC in my Little A today (Mild still £2.19 or thereabouts). Suggests it is more than just my store, but we know that SEL RTC items are not always in every store (even the same size store).

Very kind TM, been a bit of fun hasn't it?
anyone got any inventive plans for all those unwanted crisps?

and just for the record I am a gal, just borrowing the name of someone special to me. xx :D:D

It's been a great bit of fun! I feel like I have made a friend for life in the Manager of Fulton Foods - what a lovely man x Talk about fantastic service - he has loaded the boxes into my car every time I have gone to pick them up.

I have had several heated discussions with Sada management over the definition of "any food item" stipulated on the Walkers voucher - is uncooked chicken a lunch product? Not in Sadas eyes!!

Thanks FC for the suggestion of passing the crisps to a local school, will give them a ring tomorrow xxxx

A house divided against itself cannot stand - I love this proverb, and thanks to my lovely family for making me realise that we can get through most things together ;)

I think there's something fishy going on here savvy:o

I think there is:D - I thought there was something else as well, that turned out to be cheaper in Aldi, but turns out not to be fish - instead it's 150g Blueberries (which "may be a berry":D:rotfl::cool:) - T £2:eek::eek: and M £1 (turns out to be ) but Aldi 85p (:(don't like M being on 'offer' anymore as means M is not expensive enough) - and, if truth be known - still too blasted expensive for me as even at 85p they are way expensive price per unit - well over £5/kg:eek::eek: - these small packs:(, never work out very good value IMO even on their 'best' offers - I'd be looking at lower than half of Aldi's price for that little:p:laugh:.

I've just wrote another chapter of my book :D

it concerns my house guest telling DS2 he'd watched someone being 'hacked to death'

I just caught the end of the conversation.....

DS2: :D ' people can't be hacked. Even if they could they have nowhere to plug a keyboard in. And even if human people could be hacked, I doubt they'd actually die

You are just talking rubbish Billy. No one has ever been hacked to death.

Billy then tried to explain the other meaning of 'hacked t o death' and got talked over :o
