If I am honest I can't imagine what life would be like if there were two of us in the house that would be the scary bit, we would not be able to get in the door.

I'm not sure are there any partners who shop alike on here.

Good afternoon, if I shopped like my dh we would be skint, he is very much an extravagant shopper so I raine him in:)

Totally agree with you there, but it is not just L plates that have this effect, it is cyclists too.
....and dare I even suggest its the same for some motorcyclists,my OH being one too...

Over the last week ive driven the L plated car...I confess ive not obscured the plates and have had similar experiences and lack of consideration from qualified drivers....and I actually have over 25 years of claim free driving behind me.

Its even made me question the usefulness of the P plate once the test has been passed, whilst its not a compulsory thing I cant help wondering why any newly qualified driver is going to think they will get consideration when driving.

Have any of the elites offspring who have recently passed their tests carried on with the P plate?????

I think my ways of shopping subsidise Mr TS's taste for the finer things in life.

He has no idea what anything costs except his beer. :o

Totally agree, I know he's the earner but if I spent like him we would be in a dire state, we are going to London to see a show later this month and he would spend a fortune in fancy restaurants and such like, a maccy d would do me:D

Looks like BZZ have a new campaign for some radox product or other....yet another I dont seem to qualify for, probably because I've still got plenty of Sanex...

But seriously I've not had a campaign with them for over a year and my score has gone from a very healthy 9 to 2.6....I'm wondering if I might deactivate my account and rejoin in a month or two as it seems the new
campaigns seem to be going to relatively new members.

Take the letter that is attached to coupon and highlight part about `plus any food item` then stand your ground if you encounter any problems.

I'm in same position only Mr TS's wage coming in at the moment.

Trouble is he has no idea what the bills are as I have always dealt with that side of things, I have offered him to do it so he would have an idea just how much goes out each month but he just leaves it to me. :o

Must admit I like fancy hotels/restaurants and over past year I am guilty of splashing out from my inheritance. We did have some significant celebrations as excuses but have reigned myself in now. :o

Most were living social deals etc but for once in my life I just didn't worry.

It's the weekly things that Mr TS does not think about, he likes to go to the local bakery and butcher on a Saturday morning, bread £3 a loaf and steaks fiver each. And the jugs of local beer from the brewery. All subsidised by whoopsies, RTC's, etc. ;)

Pleased with my new car as it costs me approx. £20 less to fill up each time and I was only approx. 30 mile shy of what I got out of the Focus on a long trip. :T

Yes Mr TS is definitely one of Joe Public. :rotfl:

Although one thing we do agree on we have neither of us ever felt the need to pay for tv, were always happy with the few terrestrial channels until it went digital and over the moon with the extra we got then. :D
