Afternoon guys.
Hope everyone is keeping well.
No hope of catching up so I'll start afresh from here if that's ok.
Looks like I've missed out on the crisps. Where is everybody buying the boxes from please? XLife is not about learning to avoid the storms - it's about learning to dance in the rain.0 -
Hi Everyone
Still trying to get my parcel from Yodel. They've tried Tues, Weds, Thurs and Sat and can't find us!! Yet I've received another parcel from them first attempt!! They really are the most awful delivery firm.
Just had an email from DD's school - Everyone has to have their own 10" tablet for September and it mustn't be a cheap one :eek:0 -
I haven't got any of the promo Walkers crisps but for anyone who wants them anyway, my local McColls is selling boxes of 30 for £2.99 :T0

For your information:
Asda Price Guarantee comparisons are based on prices correct as of date of delivery (online shoppers) or date of purchase (in store customers).
Where a product comparison price is N/A, either, a) the independent agencies that collect the price data have not found an equivalent product at the named competitor, based on the comparison criteria (see Terms & Conditions) ; or b) the product is part of a particular promotion which makes it difficult for a fair comparison to be made (see Terms & Conditions).
Comparisons are limited to a maximum of 10 items per product and 10Kg for items sold by weight.
All prices displayed in red are net of any multibuys savings or discounts. For example items that are £1.47 each which are part of a "2 for £2.50" promotion will be shown at £1.25 each where the customer buys the required quantity. They may therefore be a different price to that shown on your receipt or delivery note.
Any items of George clothing or Home and Leisure items are excluded from this comparison.
Please see Terms & Conditions for a full list of exclusions and further information.
Here's your voucher for £4.50Why £4.50?
We don't like being beaten on price. That's why, if we're not 10% cheaper than more than one competitor, we'll always give you the voucher for the largest amount.

Just wondered if it is still working on the new system? Please and thankyou0 -
I'm just going to have a little rant if thats ok....
Decided to take DS1 out for a little driving practice this morning...well filling the car with petrol was the excuse...
He's doing really well and managing reasonably confidently for some of the situations he's being put in,its the other drivers that see an L plate and see fair game!
Quite large sections of our town have been turned into 20mph zones which really does slow the traffic down no matter who you are,but 3 times this morning we had drivers who either overtook dangerously or tailgated, one even flashing his lights repeatedly for attention.
Personally I'm against the 20mph zones, they dont always slow the traffic considerately and there are points where a 30 becomes a 20 and back again in a very short distance but they are there and until someone on high with some sense actually looks at what they have done with the signage...until then I'm afraid we must try and adhere to them!
At some point everyone was a L driver....it would do those well who have passed their test to remember that...
I shall now climb down from my box.frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!
2017 toiletries challenge 179 out 145 in ...£18.64 spend0 -
