Heads up - I am finding the 5 limit on our W4lkers is not imposed again post midnight (same as last night). May be a slight glitch on their system, as the 5 limit was imposed before midnight.

hello  jelly
we was thinking of Edinburghand that's one thing im not look forward too
I always gets bit  even when im sat in the garden
Lou :A nice to see you.
I'm somewhere just south of Edinburgh right now
Id say don't stay in Edinburgh itself. It's ridiculously expensive, especially this time of year. Stay somewhere in the central belt.....Falkirk, Stirling....that sort of area. Both Edinburgh and Glasgow are in easy distance to travel to without the expense of being in the cities.
It's a great area for stuff to do. If you want to please the kids there's the Falkirk wheel which is a fab experience and you can go see the kelpies on the way. Blair Drummond safari park near Stirling, lots in Stirling itself. A day out to Edinburgh to see all the sights. I'd also recommend Glasgow for shopping if that's your thing.
if you want scenery you are better going further north.
Lots of parks and open spaces to take kids for free too. What sort of accommodation are you looking for? Hotels are far cheaper out of the cities. Not sure about campsites or caravans.
I get very enthusiastic about the place. Can you tell :rotfl:
Zag......been for an Indian tonight with DDwe had pakora and spiced onions

Yellow sauce  well I don't know what that's all about but I do notice the differences from what I get at home and what I get here.
Scottish Indian is much better
I guess it's a regional thing? it's like all takeaway foreign foods. The seller adapts to the needs/wants of the customer. My in laws were Italian chippy owners :A they'd never have eaten what they served to the people who paid their wages0
