Not had the best weekend. I blacked out on Friday night and ended up in A&E :eek:So missed another day at work yesterday as I didn't get home until the early hours. Spent the day feeling sorry for myself and nursing a rather large egg shaped bump on my forehead. Not a good look it has to be said! Still feeling pretty wiped out but back to work today, can't miss any more days.
Hope everyone is well, haven't really had a chance to read back, but will attempt a bit of a catch up later to see what's been going on
 for now
LFAB  Oh my goodness take it easy. :A
I hope you feel better soon and the nasty bump goes down before work tomorrow. Is the advice lots of cold flannels? xx0 -

Morning all.I see a lot of posts about smoked bacon comparing to morries not seen it mentioned that the unsmoked bacon compares too
Probably because it wasn't picked up by the price collectors when the £2 offer started in Morries, might have been picked up since though but not seen it reported - have you seen it on the APG recently ?

Morning and what a dull windy one it is.:(
For those that are picking raspberries, here is a lovely recipe (so I'm told by mum) that I searched on the internet for her when she told me she had seen a 'raspberry cake' recipe 2 years ago in Good Food Magazine! Took me an hour to find it but she's thrilled. (think dad threw out some of her Good Food magazines when she wasn't looking!)
As you can see no 'raspberry' in the title
Summer Drizzle Cake

Sorry can't get the picture up:o
Ingredients
2 large eggs
2 tsp vanilla extract
175g fruits, stoned and diced weight
140g granulated sugar
1-2 tbsp citrus juice - lemon, lime or orange
175g very soft butter, plus extra for greasing
175g golden caster sugar
250g self-raising flour
Compare prices
Method
Heat oven to 180C/160C fan/gas 4. Grease a 900g/2lb loaf tin and line the base and ends with a long strip of baking parchment. Put the butter, sugar, flour, eggs and vanilla extract into a large bowl and beat with an electric hand mixer for 5 mins until pale and creamy – the mixture will be very thick.
Spread one-third of the cake mix into the tin, then scatter over 50g of the fruit. Carefully dot and spread another third of the cake mix on top, and scatter with another 50g fruit. Finally dot the rest of the cake mix over and gently spread with the back of a spoon. Bake for 1 hr, until an inserted skewer comes out clean.
Poke the cake all over with a skewer. Put remaining 75g fruit into a bowl with the granulated sugar. Stir in 1 tbsp of the citrus juice first with a fork, mashing a little of the fruit as you go. If it’s a bit dry, add a splash more juice and spoon over the cake. Leave in the tin until the cake is cool and the topping is set and crisp.0 -
I was good and didn't waste my petrol going further afield to the other 2 Lidls to look for the bacon. I snoozed and losed yesterday by the look of it. Should have been there 9am like Nellie!0

I wish people would stop going on about me, I'm starting to get a complex! I'm not even worth all this chat about me. I started a thread that's it. I was banned and MSE allowed me back. I'm sure there MUST be other things that can be talked about and not me all the bloody time.
Cant we pretend that I'm PPR so that my name is not dragged up all the time.
There is only one thing in life worse than being talked about, and that is not being talked about.
