Just shows you how far we are behind due the weather. My early crops are just getting their flowers now. The time I get them, my new potatoes will be old potatoes:)

Oh dear we have been really lucky here, I got caught by a late frost but it clearly didn't do the plants any harm. Some of my newies are huge. One I pulled up yesterday was the size of my hand from tip of my fingers to my wrist. Tasted bloody lovely as chips

You'll soon catch up and have a fab crop from them. They say good things come to those who wait :cool:

Good morning everyone. Beautiful day out there, daren't draw the curtains in here yet, really do not want the sun coming through 11 feet of floor to 1ft from the ceiling glass :eek: Have to pop out and you can guarantee I would forget to lock the French windows, done it a few times and even round here it is rather asking for it, the best that will happen is that a local cat will decide to visit:(

It is an extremely small world. A few years ago we were travelling through Gatwick and we bumped into an old neighbour of OHs from Zambia:eek: (OH lived out there for a couple of years)
