Not a good day to have been travelling up and down the country M40 closed both ways on way up due to 2 separate accidents in the early hours. :(

I panicked as my sat nav is meant to be clever and redirect me and I missed the diversion. So did a bit of a detour so didn't get to DD2 until after 8am.

Quick pit stop and back on road but M40 southbound totally shut as they were going to have to resurface as accident so bad. :(:( They also shut off part of the M42 due to so much congestion.

My sat nav eventually took me on a magical mystery tour, I wonder if Zippy saw me wave. Drove right past him on the way back.

I am absolutely shattered clocked just over 8.5 hours driving time. DD2 did a quick change at home and straight back out door, Mr TS doing that trip, I hope she wasn't late.

I was actually up at 5.30 - its my new wide awake time so I was doing things off todays To Do list

one cat had a paddy in the bathroom last night, wood chip cat litter scattered in every direction - I was hoping OH would clear it up - no its muggings here.
OH did say he removed the poo - well that was very helpful - not :rotfl:

Apart from that grim job I am so far ahead of myself this morning - doing the household accounts now and trying to figure out where I've spend £150 in the last 10 days - real money not counting anything on the credit card.
I know I spent £30 on amazon and £10 in the barbers, another £10 getting cashback things in Morrisons, another £10 in Aldi, £10 for the window cleaner - that still leaves £80 - bit of a mystery ....

I was up at 3.30am today that has been known to be my bed time. :o

Morning gang. No time for shopping for me at the moment. Visiting unis today and tomorrow then I'm off for a week in the sun with DD on Sunday. I need to get some easy to cook grub for DH and DS 1 & 2. Don't know how I can fit that in as well as cleaning and packing. Why oh why do they want to eat every single day? Ha ha :rotfl:

I hope you didn't get caught up in any of the road closures/congestion today.

    Many thanks to TS. :A
Received the books that she sent for DGS - he loves them. His favourites are pirates and animals.

Pleasure MKS, sorry they took so long to get to you. :o Relieved to finally be able to see the floor in DD2's room now. :) I also found a couple of birthday presents I had bought for people earlier in the year and their birthdays were already gone. So one had a late delivery yesterday.
