    Has anyone ever had chestnut conserve?

    Just that I made some today (had some chestnuts in the currently defunct freezer and did not want to waste all the work that went into them :eek:) and I am wondering if it is any good? Don't want to open a jar yet :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    No, I watched it too. Makes me glad I have a dog and not a cat.

    Reminds me of my brother's cat though ... and he and his DW are expecting their first child at the end of July. Hope their kitty doesn't mind sharing her home and "her" people :eek:

    I know how you feel. I have peaches in brandy from the Morries free fruit and veg and just can't bring myself to open them. Sure they've fermented:o

    Could be rather interesting :D:beer::rotfl::rotfl:

    The funny thing is I only made the conserve today, just not quite had the nerve to try it. It also has brandy in it :D
