This thread is descending into negativity.

Maybe we should stop posting about reasons why people are not posting, stop looking to see who is stalking the stalkers and just get on with the usual chit chat, glitches and nonsense.

I too am getting fatter and fatter. I'm great during the day, right up to about 9pm.....then bf makes a cup of tea and I give in. I even started buying only the things that bf likes and I could 'apparently' take or leave. Well apparently I can't!!
I do a reasonable amount of exercise....go to the gym 4 times a week, walk a bit but just don't lose weight.
I know I need to completely change the way I eat.....more healthy fats, more protein less sugar. I simply don't have the will, power!!!:mad:

Can I join the club of those in torment :( I only want to lose a few pounds, my head is well up for it, I just wish my stomach was as enthusiastic! When I see how well tweets has done and the amount of weight she has lost, I am in awe of her.....

Leo, like you, I exercise a reasonable amount each week, but was not losing weight (wanted to lose a stone).....until I got two fabulous apps on my phone. I use Map my walk, and My fitness pal.
Map my walk, maps all different types of exercise...walking, cycling, treadmill etc.....so I set this when I start my workout and then when I finish, it shows calories burned, length of exercise etc, and you also get a weekly report. If you sync this app with My fitness pal, the calories burned are automatically put into this app.....so the more you exercise, the more you can eat.
My fitness pal is brilliant....you log all the food you eat, and drinks and it calculates what calories you have consumed and what you have left. You have your weekly weigh in and put that into the app. It also shows proteins, sugars etc and lets you see if you are eating too much of anything in particular. The app has made me very conscious of what food I am putting into my mouth :)
I still have treats every day...but have to save calories in order to do so.
Have a look....can highly recommend.....both apps are free.

Another my fitness pal fan here - I have an upband and it all synchs up - not that I can actually loose any weight

ooh and some good news... DS3 has been working on the railways (in the safety).... he was put on a course and passed with the highest marks, and out of all the people on the course he was told that he is the only one moving to the new job full time..... He is the the youngest in the country EVER to hold this qualification/job!!

    Proud mum

    And quite rightly so :j:T:j:T:j

Hope you are going to treat him to something nice

I am not saying who is right or wrong because I don't know ... but LISTS seem popular on here so maybe

we can do a list of

no back biting stabbing or rude remarks amnesty

Every one put the names on the list if they want a cease fire

and no one can lapse back into old habits ....

of course witty remarks such as the daves nerfy and zippy other men and

woman etc etc are allowed because that is wit

SO is this a good idea or bad idea ?

Lets see if people think it is an idea that we can put into practice

I will start the list with my name

I really wish the women of this thread would stop getting their Bridgets in a twist and cut back on the absurd paranoia, conspiracy theories and stalking of one another.

So someone hasn't posted for a day or three or someone has chosen not to post because of an individual. Well, so what ! Leave them to be childish on their own. Get a grip ! Reality is far more important !

If people don't want to post then leave them alone. There could be a multitude of reasons why not and that's up to them. The whereabouts of somebody does not need to be continually questioned by anyone here. Have you never heard of privacy !

The thread will function without any one, two, three, blah blah individuals. The thread doesn't NEED anybody, it will go on regardless.

    Spot on son!

    Morning all! :)

I agree....these are both great apps. I have them but don't use them....!! Well I do use my fitness pal to a point. I log everything I eat, realise I've eaten too much, get peeved off and stop using it! :(
    I'm my own worst enemy!
However.....it's 6 weeks til my hols and I have to get a stone off so I'll be back on it tomorrow and logging everything that goes in my mouth. I'll be making my omlette for work cos that keeps me full up. I'll just have to keep myself busy when bf gets the chocs out at 9pm!
