The one that has flowered is the original baby I got from my mum. I have some babies from that one but honestly what do you do with them all. I have given friends and family as many as they will take. The little ones I have potted are looking less than healthy, positively sick to be honest. I should repot the mother plant really.

I have just repotted my mother plant in a 30 litre pot, and it's on the patio- gets the sun from about lunchtime onwards but is looking a bit burnt :( normally, aloe vera is great for sunburn but would that be planty cannabilism?! :rotfl::rotfl:

Good move queen of cheap. Life is too short and precious to let work make you unhappy.

Thank you :A it wasn't really that difficult a decision in the end. Yes, things are going to be tight but I have interviews lined up at the end if the month so hopefully something will come from at least one of them :T

I bought some really excellent pegs in Wilkinsons about 3 years ago, maybe more, they are just three prongs, made entirely of plastic. Hard to describe but you can hang stuff out in gale force winds and they just don't come off the line. I have never had one break. I only bought two packs of them, wish I had bought more. I have been looking for them ever since. You don't think at the time to take note of what is on the packaging.

Are these them, I got some like this from wilkos years back and still going strong.

I have a lovely new Gas boiler up and running so would just like to thank everyone particularly Dave Morton for advising me to go with a new one instead of getting the old one repaired:Aso thank you once again Elite:A I so appreciated all your advise re this problem I had and as they say a problem shared is a problem halved :T:T:T

Glad you're all sorted Nanny :T:T:T
Our workmen are still here :( They are just sending the mole through now, having spent the whole afternoon digging holes and trying to trace the electricity supply. They will have to come back tomorrow to put it all back together. Thankfully DH got home at about 4:45 so has been dealing with them since. I'm like mhoc - I found them a bit scary :rotfl:

My car is trapped on the driveway though and I have a CC order to collect. Will have to be chauffeur driven :D
