I think I might just ramble on to keep the thread moving .....
Well, it is a nice day today, the sun is shining, washing is on the line. I am considering my options for our evening meal. Think I might go for pasta. Struggling a bit with my weight at the moment, I am in awe of tweets I wish I had the will power to just say no to all things lush. She has done so well. I am going on holiday in three weeks so would like to lose about 7lbs but not holding out a lot of hope......I do try.....x

Thank you. I have been Mr A's after work and 2 caramel cream choux buns fell in my basket like they have done for last 3 times I have been ;) I do share them with our Poppy :D

Sending positive thoughts so you lose weight I know you can lose it :)

on my opinion without jeremy clarkson and his 2 sidekicks there is no top gear :(

Agree, my OH went to see them at Sheffield last week and said it was fantastic!
We're just happy to have a home, a family and our health. Whatever else is just added and it fits. :)

    I'm with you there Dippy!

I can't wait til the new version of TG with Clarkson, Hammond and May comes out on another channel. 'Cause it will.

    It's only a game

At least you have made the call and have an appointment. Honestly you are not alone with the doctor problem. We have to phone ours at 8.15am, tell them what is wrong (like we are the doctors) then they get a doctor to call you back so that he can then judge whether/when he needs to see you. It is like you have to fight in your corner to get him to agree that you need to see him now. Mostly, I can't be bothered, but I have experienced sciatica and it is really painful, waiting to see if it will go away is not an option so you have to bite the bullet. Good luck with it and let us know how you get on.......x

we have automated apointments for the doctors, you can phone 24 hours a day to get apointments, for doctor, nurse or specialist nurse i phoned today at 7 am and got one for ds3 for 9 am, I love our doctors :A

Our previous doctor was a pain to get appointments with. After complaining many times to the Practice Manager, I changed to a different practice and now can almost always get seen the same day. We have the automated system too, its great. Also can request repeat presciptions online and they're ready to collect from Sainsbobs Pharmacy within hours.

My house minus me live and breathe it...so would love it to continue in its current format...but I think it might be due a change...just not with over saturated existing BBC presenters.

my lot have also over the year loved the TG live events so much so that it has become a regular pilgrimage to London...ever since OH won a driving experience on the scaletrix stand about 8 years ago.
One year I remember booking them tickets and getting really good seats for the show only to realise after I had confirmed payment that I had booked a school day rather than the weekend I had intended..cue a letter to the headmaster who thankfully was a TG fan too!
frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!

    2017 toiletries challenge 179 out 145 in ...£18.64 spend

Why, today of all days, does my cat have to bring in a baby £%&*!+ magpie. It's all I can do to stand upright, no way can I crawl round trying to catch a bird. It's lurking in the hall under a chest of drawers at the moment I think, so I've shut all internal doors and left the back door open and DH will have to deal with it when he gets home. It keeps making a horrible squawky chattering sound :(

OK i'm taking the thread in a different direction...
just been reading that potentially theres another name in the frame for the top gear presenting job...
Nick Knowles....nothing against him but why do the BBC seem to latch on to a very small number of presenters and put them everywhere...I like Clare Balding but even she now seems to be all over both every sporting event and Radio...

I'm not a TG fan but I've 3 in the house that are..The BBC dont need to put an established "face" on the programme...If TG is going to come back please let it not be presented by one of the handful of presenters that grace the books of the BBC

I shall now step off of my box and wish munqui a safe trip to A to test the coke!
I think it will be tough to replace JC and his sidekicks. There is a chemistry between them that it is going to be hard to recreate even if James May and Richard Hammond decide to stay. I am not a fan but watch it because DH does......x

    Before you judge, understand why,
    Before you hurt someone, feel,

Someone seriously needs to get a life and stop reporting my posts especially the ones to fc we chat on a daily basis about all sorts and if she thought my post about her day trip was inappropriate sure she would have mentioned it to me either on here or via pm

Right I haven't been banned or going to be banned just cba
No need to reply just so people know I am not dead when I am not bilging away :p

I reported his post about calling bubb's trailer trash, even as a joke I find that disgusting and unnecessary.

As for opening a new thread, show me the rules.. I said when I was allowed back the past was the past and I'm looking at the future. I have as much right to start a thread as the next person. MSE allowed me back, told me to respect the rules and I will be.

As for any more comments on this.. this will be my last.
