I'm mostly to lazy to read bk but I've popped on several times an thread not moved off a page all day.
I'm not sure why people aren't posting !

    :rotfl: sorry maz

I know, I have noticed that too, but I am hoping that the next thread will see the return of most of the posters. One thing is for definitely sure DeeDee everybody appreciates the time and effort you put in, the glitches you have found have been absolutely brilliant. You would be greatly missed if you defected to one of the fb groups I am sure of that.....x

Well done to your son on passing the driving test Rhos....the road is officially his oyster now!
Mine has his in a few weeks time but wont let me tell anyone about it,we have a car ordered for him which is currently on hold in storage at the garage for when he passes hopefully ....but its been so hard not to share any of the details with anyone as Ds1 doesnt want anyone knowing in case he fails...

my guess why the threads so quiet at the moment...the weathers nice there is a lack of glitches and its probably just a case of get out in the sun...it doesnt help that recent apg changes have happened, but the beauty of the elite is we come and go and are welcomed back...I suspect that folk will dip in and out over the summer and come september we'll see everyone return,a bit like a new school term!!!

I took a break a few weeks ago...RL needed addressing and it meant that I couldnt do the things I enjoyed on the scale I enjoyed them...at the time there was also quite a bit of tension around some posters suggesting that there was too much chat about non shopping related things and it was clogging up what is essentially a shopping portal...this may have also happened at the time when there was also one user with a very definite view on politics which made for difficult and rather tiresome reading...for me the elite should be a mix of everything in moderation, banter,RL stories, news of the day, shopping finds and above all a good balanced read...

I guess you cant please everyone ....

well said I hope you're right, I don't post much but sometimes when I do I ramble on, but I have been so grateful for not only the glitches but support and advice from everyone long may it carry on:)

I've been having a think about it all since my first post and actually think that one of the best times where the elite have come together this year was Tiny's daughters make up challenge....
Totally against all the rules of voting etc but what a great time it was for bringing everyone together and working to achieve what was a really good result for her, even though she wasnt put through to the next phase....
Again some were unhappy that we turned the thread into non shopping for a few weeks but it bought many lurkers and previous posters out just to showtheir support...
In my mind it doesnt harm having a quiet spell as long as people do keep their hand in a little and lurk...

FC is having a very challenging year and whist she may not be reading or posting as much as she used to I am sure she has a wave of support and thoughts from her virtual elites.

Emma's been and got herself a fab new job which is quite rightly taking up large chunks of her time ...but we're all on the lookout for a handwash glitch for her and cant wait to have some tales from her time over the pond.

Qoc shes juggling lots at the moment...sweetheart,dont worry about the rabble at work they just cant recognise a good worker when they see on and probably have tarred you with the tag of "temp"...I once worked with someone who refused to speak to new people until they had worked for the company for a year...utterly self centred.

Just recently we have seen the return of henlans...I was not here on his last visit so have no idea of the politics of why he was removed, and TBH I speak as I find rather than being led by whats happened before....I hope he continues to provide a valuable input to the thread going forward and it was a lovely touch to see photos of the family holiday that was paid for by glitches...

Too many others that I could also write about but who wants to read a great long post...unless of course its from savvy and actually contains something of interest from morries....savvy,I hope you are enjoying your down time from the elite at the moment
    and finally from me
Tweets....I'm still so impressed with the weight loss
frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!

    2017 toiletries challenge 179 out 145 in ...£18.64 spend

I think I might just ramble on to keep the thread moving .....
Well, it is a nice day today, the sun is shining, washing is on the line. I am considering my options for our evening meal. Think I might go for pasta. Struggling a bit with my weight at the moment, I am in awe of tweets I wish I had the will power to just say no to all things lush. She has done so well. I am going on holiday in three weeks so would like to lose about 7lbs but not holding out a lot of hope......I do try.....x

Congrats to Mrs Stinkface for new little boy and congrats to the new driver as well.

I noticed how quiet things have been as well but I was very relieved when DeeDee joined in again after her break. Also It was good news when SFSB told us he was back. I try to find glitches but haven't managed it yet. I live too far to pop in As and check the shelves, so can only look online. Fingers crossed I will find something one day. I live really close to Sains but we all know that's no use!
