    Ha bloody ha :p

Anyone got any good bacon recipes :D

Pasta bake with smoked bacon (all visible fat removed) served with a salad of lettuce leaves, cucumber, tomatoes, chopped peppers and thinly sliced onions with chopped up dill on the top of them. If you have any, a smidgen or two of pomegranate sauce on the lettuce. Enjoy.

  • It is SO quiet here, don't hear a thing except the birds chirping. Couldn't be bothered to go see how many were bussed back to start line as they were too late going through our village. Couldn't see any cyclists from back window on road so guess it was pretty much a non event going through here.

So much for the Velothon bringing tourists to Wales & putting it on the map - there seems to be absolutely no coverage. Apparently S4C (Wales TV - we already know how beautiful it is here) and maybe ITV4 may give it some coverage but not live.

What a damp squib! We have another 4 years?? Let's hope there are new organisers next time that actually inform people they are going to keep them housebound/village bound all day.

Have you had a look at the Head For Points website Emma? There's all sorts of ideas on there for getting the most out of all the different loyalty programmes.

I am a Facebook fan of theirs but need to investigate more. Cheers hornet :money:

    Fridge
    Freezer :D
Was running the freezer down and managed to get it to about 50% but 8 packs of bacon and 16 double blocks of cheese seemed to have slowed down my emptying.
Have left them in carriers so I know what not to randomly take out for tea I will empty it or at least use up the older meat first this way
