I love my air fryer and really recommend it. And very grateful for these cooking tips! But I have not cooked meat in my fryer. How do you do that please?

Obviously it's got to be a small joint. I think I did a small chicken in there too. You can just put it in the basket BUT you'll need to empty the container of fat about 1/2 way through or even before if it's at all fatty - otherwise it'll smoke. I normally do it 20-30C less than it says and time it about 2/3rds of time. Sometimes I'll wrap meat & stuff it - I keep tinfoil metal containers that fit inside & reuse a few times if I can. Those Asda 3 for £10 joints can go in there usually if you squeeze the container a bit.

Chops or chicken breasts, legs etc. I often put on top of food I'm cooking - if chips, peppers etc or even roast potatoes. Again you may have to empty any excess fat out & if you need to crisp up veggies after meat has been on top 2-3 mins on their own will do. I have been known to cook chips/peppers etc. then do meat or pies etc. and once that's done pop the veg back in for 3 mins to make them hot for the meal.

Just try it - the meat usually falls apart & tastes a lot better than done in the oven. It can be a little messy but then the basket etc. is so easy to clean, far easier than oven. Wipe the top element too.

I honestly can't remember when I last used my oven - it was before I had the Duronic. I do have a combi oven/grill microwave however which again is perfect for just the 2 of us. I use that far less now too.
