I think you may have problems with paypal and a CC

paypal WILL re emberse you if it was a ebay sale,

CC , problems there , lots of companies are not playing with paypal

Thanks for the feedback, my update is tht I went straight from a dispute to claim, (for the refund) and the 'seller' (I use that term loosely! ) has until 18th June to reply. Which in all honesty I can't see them quaking in their boots, with the rathe of PayPal on their case. After that date PayPal will continue to review my case? Sounds a bit 'open ended' really.
Actually Watchdog may be a better option if Paypal don't cough up!

I have reported the company to - trading.standards@leicester.gov.uk and they replied straight away today wanting my details for their investigation...

I have details about how this company operated and detailed information on they're lies to customers, screenshots etc of his linked bank accounts to instock appliances. Alan potter is the Md of instock and father to Sarah who is the partner of james street who used the alias scot when taking orders etc. James street was the Md of ultimate appliances and was recently jailed for fraud relating to ultimate appliances, he has 71 a-z claims through amazon, paypal is £30,000 + short, I also have addresses if any body wants them !!

I sent a recorded delivery letter to this lot and a fella called "Scott" actually rang me back twice telling me that my letter regarding no refund had raised their awareness that their refund system wasn't working. He actually rang me to tell me that he had done a manual refund. And, guess what, the refund never came...
