    They would, instead, be spending their mega property investment returns.

    To be honest, I am with leveller2911 here. We have a shortage of affordable housing as it is, the last thing needed is more buy to let merchants buying up the sort of property that should be going to a first time buyer just starting out in life.

    People should only be landlords, as they want to be a landlord, it should not be some de-facto default way to invest cash. Go and put it into a small business.
