Notice of intended court action

Hi
I just received a notification that Ive lost my appeal and now have to pay £80! (rather than the £40 if I hadn't appealed - how is this legal)?
Basically earlier in the year I parked at a local park to drop off my sons inhaler, I was gone for 2-3 minutes, less time than it would to walk to the pay machine. As I walked back down the stairs I saw the attendant, I called out to him but he ignored me! I appealed on the basis of time parked, it would have been longer if I was queuing at machine, I could've been getting change- its a local park largely paid for by council tax and over zealous charging is uncalled for. Yes i realise now that mitigation doesn't work but is there anything I can do?? I'm so angry about this, its very unfair.
I did contact the park owners but they simply past my comments on to the carpark operator and didn't even acknowledge me!
Help, advice would be great!
Thanks.

Hi
I received a parking ticket back in Feb because I parked at a local park for about 3 minutes, ran up some stairs to give my son his asthma pump and came back! The warden was still at my car as I ran down the stairs but he refused to stop issuing the ticket. It would've taken me longer to walk to the payment machine! I appealed and they refused my appeal and so I appealed to POPLA and that was also declined. Is there anything I can do at this stage? The fine is now £80 which in anyones world is excessive!
Thanks in advance.0 -
What ever did you use as an appeal basis to fail at POPLA?
You will need to give the PPC name for the regulars to help you with this.0 -

Notice of intended court action
Which means you probably have a debt collector letter. Does it say something like "Please pay £XXX within 14 days else we'll recommend our client proceeds with court action"?0 -

Hasn't been back even to read the thread's responses from the moment the first post was made. Wait for their next move! Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
