However, the fact remains that if somebody does not like credit card default fees they can go to FOS free.0 -
I had 2 loans with ppi on and originally complained back in 2012. They were "investigated" and they wrote to say they hadnt been mis sold. Ive been suffering from depression and apart from calling FOB who sent me a load of paperwork i didnt have the strength to fill it all in. Last yr out the blue a had a call from LTSB asking for more details about my later loan, then they wrote to say they agree it was mis sold and i could have a refund. But Ive still not heard anything about the 1st older loan. I did make a claim on the loan as i was ill for a month but recieved peanuts in comparison to what it cost me and I want the remainder of what i paid back. I had to mess around and pay for letters from GP in order to make the claim and I tried to cancel it thereafter and I was told I couldnt cancel it as the cost of the PPI was "top loaded" so i paid off my "loan for PPI" first. The whole system is warped. I just want them to refund the remainder of the first loan ppi. Last time i spoke to someone in their abroad call centre he told me I didnt have PPI on my first loan. Im former banking working, I know 100% I did and I have letters somewhere refering to my PPI. So they have tried to fob me off with lies, inexperienced staff and its taken from 2012 to get one loan ppi refunded. If they dont sort it out soon, im going to formally get the FOB on the case as this is ridiculous. Moral to the story - dont trust LTSB!!!!0
