    For Aviva it was on the policy cert, in my case, and not in the policybook so may be a policy benefit that they are being bad at advertising.

    I think its in the policy - definition of Your Vehicle.

    I suspect if its only on the cert then it would be TP only.

    Just looked at Avivia policy document again:

    Yes, it covers a loan car for 7 days whie the insured vehicle is being repaired/MOTd by motor trade.

    I don't see how. This is in their 'definitions' section of the policy, and is part of the definition of 'your vehicle'.

    But, as mentioned, if they're required to send out a cover note for the courtesy car the they can legitimately charge you an admin fee.

    No cover note needed if the certificate includes it.

    If the garage insists, then they can pay the admin fee.
