thephonespot (e2save) cashback time
Hi guys.
I did have a look through the forums, but I couldn't find an answer to this (I know I should have done, as it's bound to have been asked many a time).
Anyway, I was hoping that someone could help me out with when I need to send in my cashback for my claim.
I took a 12 month contract out on 12th March, but because of my current contract and the swapover of my current number, I did not receive a letter until 26th March welcoming me to the network. I checked my online account, and notice that the first bill I received was dated 29th March. I have received four more bills since then all on or around 28th of the month (April, May, June, July). Looking at the cashback form, it tells me to send the form back on the 6th, 8th, 10th and 12th month. So am I right in assuming that I need to send the form back with the 6th bill (i.e. the one dated on or around 28th August)?
I have also read some people saying you need to include your first bill as well on the first cashback? I can't remember seeing that in the form. Is this correct?
Also, do I send it to the address in my form (which is the V5 dated 01/11) which appears to be the same as the latest form, or to a different address (as I read someone else said the posted it to the online crewe office or something?!)?
I look forward to some help in this
Sorry for creating yet another thread tho!
Many thanks,
David

I took out a similar deal from thephonespot, and after reading the virgin thread started by martin I realised that I had to send in the actual 5th bill if you follow the table in the cashback leaflet it tells you something like this:
MONTH OF PURCHASE = 1
MONTH 2
MONTH 3
MONTH 4
MONTH 5
MONTH 6 (CLAIM NOW) ...
When I filled my details in (Purchased in March), bills around 7th of each month my 6th month claim was in fact my august bill whereas I thought it was September. So I've just sent off my August bill.
Also if you login to the e2save customer area here: http://www.e2save.com/mobile-phone-shop/loginArea it should detail when you are supposed to send your claims.ummm...0 -
Thanks for the reply. But you've confused me even more!
I logged in to the e2save website, and it says to send in the bill dated August. Which, for me, will be the 6th bill. But you say that I should be claiming in the 6th month, which I am currently in, so would need to send the 5th bill, which is in fact the July bill.
So could anyone help more, or would I be better off calling them to sort it out?0 -
no in my case it was the 5th bill, but for you its the 6th bill. Just make sure you print out what the website says so you have documentary proof of what they say so if they deny your claim in future you can prove they have mislead you via their website.ummm...0
