Faulty out of guarantee TV

Purchased £150 TV from Currys 17/04/2014 Has been in our bedroom, had about 30 hours use, if that. Plugged it in and switched it on last week and it won't power up. I emailed Currys who said there is nothing they can do as it is out of guarantee. I replied saying SOGA applies still They have now offered me an £88 voucher.…
