    Part of the Furniture
I helped my Mum sell Avon door to door and made some jewellery to sell. I had a saturday job (27/6 for the day) at the local 'chemists' for a year which was an eye opener. I lost my job when the manageress told the boss they didn't need Saturday staff. 3 months later her daughter had the job but a week later I had more hours and better pay behind the supermarket (Budgens) deli counter. I went to college to study agriculture and spent all the holidays as a relief milker via an agency. Over 23 jobs in total, as well as Mum. Hubby worked for the same company from 18-63 but he was doing what he had wanted to do from the age of 5!

I started my first job age 13 in a local gift shop, for £25 each Saturday.

At 17 I started my first full-time, permanent job as a teaching assistant in a special needs school, where I earned £14k.

Hating school (the system, not the work) I actually "quit" school the year before my GCSE exams and didn't get chased up for it. However working my way up the ropes with a strong work ethic and determination I'm currently 6 years into a successful tech/games industry career.
