Well,

I have been totally blown away by the help I have received from so many of you in response to my query.

Very special thanks to Wombat and Judderman who between them have given me a tremendous amount of help and support. :A :A :A :A

I now have not only a fully working speadsheet to do just what I need but I have gone on to use what I have learnt from you all to amend two other spreadsheets which now work much more effectively.

It restores your faith in human nature to know that so many people will take the time out to help others.

Yes there's a mixture of folk on MSE and many are really, really lovely folk and I agree it does restore one's faith in mankind when people will help each other with no expectaion of anything in return.
